What is this course about?

Ready to take your Excel skills to the next level? This intermediate course is designed to help you build confidence, work more efficiently, and unlock powerful tools within Microsoft Excel.

Over five weeks, you’ll develop practical skills that you can immediately apply to real-life tasks—whether at work, at home, or in further study.

 

1. Freeze/unfreeze rows and columns. Split a worksheet.

2. Filter data. Apply multiple filters. Filter data with search. Apply advanced text/number/data filter. Use find and replace.

3. Create a conditional formatting. Sorting data. Custom sorting. Add multiple levels to any sort.

4. Group and ungroup worksheets. Make a drop downs. Modify tables.  Functions and formulas.

5. Create more complex formulas. Relative and absolute cell references.

Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course

A basic level of conversational and written English is needed to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of Excel and computer skills

What you need to bring with you

Learners must have access to Microsoft Excel and a laptop or desktop with good wifi and a webcam (if online).

If the course is face to face the laptop will need to be  brought to the venue.
