What is this course about?

This friendly, hands-on workshop introduces you to Microsoft Excel and shows you how it can make everyday tasks quicker and easier — whether at work or at home.

You’ll build confidence as you learn how to:

  • Understand the layout and key features of an Excel spreadsheet
  • Enter, organise, and format data clearly and professionally
  • Use simple formulas and functions to carry out calculations
  • Create and customise charts to present information visually

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to use Excel more effectively and feel confident exploring it further.

Any previous experience/qualifications you need to do the course

Basic conversational and written English is required to complete this course. You must also have a basic level of computer skills.

What you need to bring with you

Learners must have access to Microsoft Excel and a laptop or desktop.

How much studying will I need to do outside the lesson?

There is no formal homework for this course. However, learners are encouraged to practise their new skills independently using Excel to build confidence and reinforce learning.
